Food for Thought: Activate your Drip Email System

I just realized that there are no posts on this blog about the Drip Email system Point2 Agent offers Professional and Premium members.  So here it is: cited from the User Manual, a great definition of what the Drip Email system is and how it works.

Online buyers are usually in the early stages of the decision making process and may not be ready to buy or sell for another six months or more. They realize that searching online gives them more opportunity to browse what is on the market before contacting a real estate agent. The Drip Email system incubates your leads through automated messaging that nurtures prospects until they are ready to take the next step.

  • Once a campaign is activated, the rest of the process is taken care of by your site.
  • A prospect visits your site and performs one of a number of actions that will "trigger" a Drip Email campaign specific to the action which triggered it.
  • Your site will record the prospect's email address and automatically add it to your Drip Email system for the relevant campaign.
  • Your prospect will now receive emails at predetermined intervals.
  • The number of the emails and the intervals are determined by you. The emails contain your brand, picture, links to your site, and whatever custom content you add (default content is provided), keeping you in the forefront of your prospect's mind.
  • The Drip Emails will generate return visits to your site, greatly increasing the odds that your contact will contract your services when they are ready to buy or sell.
  • The great part is you don’t have to do anything until the prospect requests your services. Your site works for you, nurturing leads until they become serious about doing business with you.
