Widgets for your Website!

A widget is an application that can be placed onto a website. Widgets can be engaging, fun, and useful.  They are applications
that allow people to share content on just about any website. For example, you could put a weather widget on your website to
report today's weather by accessing data from the Weather Network.  You can add a YouTube widget, displaying your own YouTube channel or a list of your favorite YouTube videos.  Other popular widgets you can add are Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.  These widgets would allow you to keep your website visitors updated on what you're up to and what you're interested in.

Widgets are great for brand awareness.  Some of the benefits of widgets are that you can improve your audiences experience, most of them are free, and they are engaging and interactive.

Here are a few  websites I found that can help you get started if you want to add a widget or two to your website:

I hope you have fun looking at some of the intriguing and useful widgets that are out there!  If you use a widget that you like and find valuable, post it in the comments!  I'd love to hear which ones you use!
