Photo popularity

Find out which of your listing photos are receiving the most views! Check your Photo Popularity!

The Photo Popularity tab is a feature that is used to determine which of your Listing's photos are receiving the most views, and can be used in conjunction with your existing marketing strategies to ensure the photos that (statistically) receive the most attention are catching clients' eyes before someone or something else does!

The great thing about this feature is that it comes as part of every Point2 Agent membership, which means you already have access to it!

To check out which photos are the most popular for your listings, follow the instructions below:

1. Login to your Online Office, under the Listings tab choose Manage

2. You will then click Manage beside the listing you would like to view the photos for

3. Click on the Photo Popularity tab

4. You will then be able to see all of the listing photos that have been added, as well as how many views each one of those photos has received since being posted

Once you have determined the most popular photos, maybe you want to rearrange the way that your photos are being displayed, in order to capitalize on the most popular pictures. From there you can then start to track the performance of that listing and see if it receives more views after you've changed the order of the photos.

Color Inspiration!

A few weeks ago I wrote a blog post about Aviary and how you could either edit your image or create a new image using their Phoenix editor. Shortly after writing that, I was looking into their Toucan Color Swatches software, and it is really neat! I thought 'what an awesome way to choose your websites color palette!'

Sometimes a picture can bring inspiration for a color theme, whether it be for a room or website design, although it can be difficult to match the colors. With Aviary's Toucan software, matching colors and creating palettes is a piece of cake!

Simply launch the Toucan program and upload a photo. You can load photos from a variety of places like Facebook, Flickr, Picasa, your computer, or Aviary's own photo album. Roll your mouse (thermometer) over the photo to view its color codes. When you find the color you want, drag it to your color palette.

When you've got all of the color codes you want, enter them into your 'Colors, Fonts and Options' area as desired. The color codes that you'll want to use with your website are found in the 'Color deficiency preview' of the Toucan dashboard. ie) b54142

Online Photo Editing

A few months ago I was looking for an online photo editing software that is free and easy to use, just something that I could create header graphics and website art with. A friend of mine here at Point2 told me about Aviary, and when I asked him how easy it was to use he replied, "Even you could figure it out..." That being said, I signed up for an account and surprisingly completed my first header graphic in about an hour using Aviary's Phoenix Image Editor.

This software is great if you have your own images that you'd like to spruce up and edit, or use for header graphics. Also, you can create images strictly with the tools that they provide. If you find yourself running into any difficulties, they have some pretty good tutorials, as well as FAQ's and help forums.

Give the Free version a try, who knows, maybe you'll create a masterpiece!
